Reina and Gerardo’s wedding was the first big event of the season and a nice way to get back in the groove. Both Reina and Gerardo were great fun to work with and good sports letting us take tons of photos. St. John of the Cross in Lemon Grove is a gorgeous church with a lot of light which is always nice for us. After a great photo session at the Organ Pavillion in Balboa Park we headed over to the The Admiral Baker Club, where Jeremy Jones of Party People Mobile Entertainment did a fabulous job taking us on into the night. Awesome wedding!

Lalita & Dave were wonderful to work with. Not only are they both incredibly photogenic, but also really nice and lots of fun. What more could you ask for? Well… since you asked… how about one of the most amazing sunsets I’ve seen here in San Diego, courtesy of the Santa Ana’s. This stretch of La Jolla coastline near Children’s Pool really has a lot offer any photographer on an average day, but add the tremendous sunset and it was just otherworldly.

Ben and Autumn were great to work with. We shot these photos only 3 days before they moved back to Wisconsin where they are having their wedding.

Josephine & Bill are great. We actually did the videography work for their wedding (yes, we do that too at our other company Digital Design Factory ) These photos were woven into a video montage which was played at the reception. It’s tends to be a little stressful, but definitely worth it.

It’s always a pleasure shooting in La Jolla. I think that small stretch of coastline near The Cove is some of the best in town. Needless to say, it was a lot of fun photographing Krystle & David at that location.

Mary & Paul were truly wonderful to photograph. We started in a very crowded and sunny Balboa Park and ended at a somewhat cold and windy Coronado. Paul & Mary were troopers despite the cold grey skies. As luck would have it, the sun came out for our last shots and gave us an awesome sunset and some nice golden California skin tones. Kind of made me remember why we all live here.

The weather was finally good, and on a weekend to boot. This was a really fun shoot at The Hotel Del. Joanie and Zach we’re really into it and great to photograph.

Natalie & Dylan – This was the last wedding of the year which took place at Admiral Baker Club in San Diego. Despite the challenges of the shorter days and brief light this time of year, the wedding turned out great. Natalie & Dylan are lots of fun and the reception was a blast.
